Grantham Music Club, which was founded in 1929, presents concerts covering a wide range of musical tastes, performed by first-rate professional musicians. Our aim is to maintain the very high standards of past and present musical performance as well as the tradition of creating a welcoming atmosphere for all our members and other music lovers in our community.

Our Next Concert

Wed 9th January 2019 at 7:30pm
Jake Muffett (baritone) with Philip Robinson (piano)

Venue: The Hall of the King’s School

JAKE MUFFETT, who left King’s School in 2011, studied on the Artist Masters’ Course in vocal performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London 2014-16, for which he was supported financially by, amongst others, Grantham Music Club. Thus he is giving a concert for us and members will be able to appreciate how his career has progressed. He has been a member of the Genesis Sixteen Choral Programme (run by Harry Christophers) and completed an apprenticeship with the Monteverdi Choir (conducted by John Eliot Gardiner). PHILIP ROBINSON , who needs no introduction to members, being really the ‘Mr Music Man ‘in this area, will accompany Jake on the piano.
